The Nuremburg Principle - A reminder
The problem is that ICE storm troopers are not adequately educated. They do not understand the grave consequences that could happen due to their depravations. They do not know history. They are certain that they will be protected by their fascist leader, not understanding that individual states can prosecute them in ways that will not be protected by any federal leader.
These ICE agents also don't understand politics and cannot see that the interim, 2026 and 2028 elections throughout the country are already changing the balance putting Democrats and progressives in stronger positions. So, first let me remind them of this. We, the people, will recover and gain control over our county again through our representatives who will be more liberal/progressive than ever before. Our new leaders will be more educated and reading to accept the challenge of repairing the harm done by Trump and his lackeys, including and perhaps especially ICE.
ICE front line storm troopers cannot rely on the concept of "I was just following orders" to protect them. We prosecuted Nazis who used this and they failed creating a legal responsibility of all persons to refuse to do anything which is illegal under local, national, and international law.
So, to ICE I warn: We will return to power. We have already started on every level. When we do, we will begin to punish those who oppressed Americans and those others on our soil who have rights. We may, as in Nuremburg, start at the top. We will not stop there, and we will punish the vulgar attempts by ICE front line agents to support Trump's fascism. The latter may even come earlier if we take back Congress in the fall. Starting in January of 2027 with the new Congress we will make laws that will control what departments like ICE can do. We will pass laws that punish agents who violate rights. We will require that laws already on the books be enforced. The statute of limitations will not be up. You should be afraid. In fact, this reality should mean you start to immediately change your behavior in order to ensure that you don't get prosecuted. We will pass a law that will require ID's on uniforms, no masks and limited weapons.
In short, we will take back our rights. ICE - be afraid, be very afraid!
