To Progressive or not to Progressive?

A famous Marxist stated that history finds its own leaders. I believe this to be true. Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders and Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez are recent relevant examples. This nation is moving to become progressive in the slow methodical pace of radical change. Yes, that is a dichotomy. Not mine, but definitely of Americans. It is not a dichotomy we should be afraid of, at least not more than we were afraid of the Civil War. The Civil War was necessary as it was America’s next step. Progressive changes are America‘s next step. It is what is needed to move Americans forward. Just as surely as Millenials and Gen Z are becoming voters who are recognizing themselves as a power and We boomers are dying out, the American voting pool is almost automatically going progressive. So the above question is really moot.

The real question is how much pain will be suffered during this process as the right realizes it is losing and sends in the storm troops in ICE uniforms, and then the brown polo shirted berserkers to do battle. No, the formal military will in the main not support trump the orange turd. Hopefully, the next Congress with take steps forward, even if it is 2 steps forward and 1 back. In congress it will be a slowly methodical crazy to the point of insanity battle whos level of insanity will be determined not by the progressives, but by the fascists and their conservative supporters.
